"The client is Omer Science and Technology - your objective is to destroy the Mass Driver space elevator owned and operated by Rayleonard."

"This mission is part of a joint effort to eliminate key assets in the Rayleonard arsenal - following the completion of what Sigmund Thermidor refers to as The Closed Plan, the Rayleonard remnant deployed the first orbiting space station which it uses as a research lab safe from prying eyes.  Though this is not the only space elevator Rayleonard controls, it is the largest and most used, and will put a serious dent in future endeavors on the corporation's part.  It is guarded on all sides by special plasma-based anti-aircraft weaponry, and employs a small army of NORMAL units and MTs as its ground defense force.  While no trouble alone, the addition of the aircraft guns - on top of possible NEXTs - makes Mass Driver a veritable fortress.  The only known weakpoints to the elevator's structure are twelve massive supporting cables keeping its main supports stable - destroying them should bring the majority of it back to earth, causing enough widespread destruction to set back the Rayleonard development division for months.  We do not expect this to be an easy mission by any means, but it is one that pays well and will give you outstanding reputation within Omer."
